Salmon Stew Ingredients:
1/2 gallon of milk (whole or whatever)
3 cans of salmon (~14 ounces per can)
1 large sweet onion
1 Stick of Butter
The important parts:
Grab a decently large pot to cook in.
Mince the onion, as small of pieces you want to have in the stew. I personally prefer them to be very small.
Put the onion in the pot
Open the cans of salmon and remove as many bones as you can, as well as skin.
Put the salmon in the pot.
Pour the milk in the pot.
Place the stick of butter into the pot
Turn the stovetop on medium-high and let the milk start rolling.
Turn the heat down to low and let it go for about 10 minutes.
Cool and Enjoy!
More Info:
The stew pairs very well with saltine crackers or oyster crackers. I personally turn it into an un-appetizing mash of crackers and soup because it's what I did when I was younger. It also tastes great.
